Admin Page Installation help

Hi,

I am following the steps highlighted on the Omeka S Installation page but am not 100% certain if I am following the last step correctly.

Step 4. In your web browser, navigate to the admin page for your omeka-s installation, where you can complete installation.

My question is, how do I get to the admin page to complete installation? As I feel that the above instruction is quite vague and so would appreciate any kind of help in regards to this.

It would be the url of your omeka s installation (yoursite.net) then /admin

I am not sure what the url of my omeka installation will be, as i have tried different combinations but the page does not seem to load.

Is there a way in which I can check what the url of the Omeka S installation is?

If you go in to the file manager of your hosting, you should be able to navigate to the location where you installed your Omeka S files. For me, it’s in my home directory, then in a directory called “testomekas” so my url is [homedirectory]/testomekas/admin

If the filepath is unclear, try checking with your hosting service.
