Adding filters to Browse page?

I am interested in adding some filters to my browse page. For example, I want to add a button labeled ‘Sculpture’ on my browse page so that when the user clicks on it, the list of items on the page will refresh and only show items with the term ‘Sculpture’ in the Dublin Core metadata field ‘Medium.’

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to do this?

I think I should edit browse.phtml, but I am not sure what to do from there, i.e. what functions or view helpers might be helpful?

You should try the Faceted Browse module.

Thank you @jimsafley.

Would you happen to know of any example sites that already use Faceted Browse so I can take a look at how it should look if I manage to set it up correctly?

It’s a new module, so I’m unaware of a site that uses it. You should read its manual.

You can try the module Advanced Search too, that has a similar feature.

See here for an example : https://luciendemaleville.org/base/ (a wordpress + omeka s site).
