Adding back a removed user

I need to add a user back that I removed. How can I do this? Thanks!

You can add a user like normal to just add them back: see the manual for more info if you’re not sure on that process.

If the concern is more about restoring their ownership of things… that’s trickier. I might first reach for just restoring a database backup if it’s a matter of importance.

Thanks for your response - I receive this error message when I try to add the user back:

  • Sorry, we are unable to invite to that user to join your Omeka site." I don’t see any troubleshooting in the manual for this error. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you’re using Omeka.net, which doesn’t work quite the same when it comes to users as “regular” Omeka.

For help with Omeka.net, the right move is to use the contact form on the Omeka.net site.
