Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on a digital library for a french institution in Archaeology.
I would like to use Perio.do datations in my Omeka S as this database suggests great things for archaeological objects.
I have already installed the ValueSuggest module. Do you know if I can add a json file with perio.do’ data I need to the ValueSuggest module ? If yes, how can I do that ? Knowing that I know a bit of coding (html, xml, python, javascript) but I never touched php code (I can try though).
I’m sure adding perio.dO to ValueSuggest would interest not only me but other persons too.
Thank you for your help.
Thank you for the suggestion. I’ve implemented the PeriodO vocabulary in a new branch of the module. Once it’s tested we’ll make a new release.
That’s very nice of you @jimsafley , thank you for your reply and for your help, I didn’t expect such a fast answer.
Please inform me once the PeriodO vocabulary is valid.
Have a nice day.
Hi @jimsafley,
I saw the commited merge on github : https://github.com/omeka-s-modules/ValueSuggest/commit/ad23dcc491a7f5efa931d607b3a5cc4d3201235d
How can I upload the module to make the changes appear on my website ? Do I have to download it again ?
Thanks for your help
I’ll notify you here once we release a new version of the module, which could be sometime this week.
