Trouble with Accessing admin page - New Install

Hello,

I have installed Omeka under my wordpress folder (using Dreamhost). I am able to access the main Omeka page, but am not able to access the admin page. When I do, it throws me back to the wordpress error page. Here’s the access log when trying to access https://nomadicone.com/omeka/admin

Any ideas on what else to check? The only thing I notice is the login is under themes/default/users/login.php but I am asuming the re-write module is taking care of that.

I went to https://nomadicone.com/omeka/install/ and saw the following message

Mod_rewrite is not enabled.
Apache’s mod_rewrite extension must be enabled for Omeka to work properly. Please enable mod_rewrite and try again.
