Trouble adding items

I’m having trouble adding items to an exhibit.

When I click on ‘Add Item,’ the screen jumps down slightly, greys out a bit, and then nothing else. I can’t browse items, I can’t scroll. I can either hit ‘Esc’ to exit out of it or refresh the page.

I tried allowing popups. I’ve changed browsers. Nothing seems to work. If you could help me with this, that would be great!

I’ve attached a screenshot in case that’s helpful.

What version of Exhibit Builder is this?

It’s version 3.42. Should I update?

I’m not sure if it’s related, but when I try to delete an exhibit as a Super User, I get this:
