SocialBookmarking - facebook doesn't allow to share

Hello,

I’ve added Social Bookmarking. When i try to share an item the facebook pop up shows, but after submitting it says “Sorry, this feature isn’t available right now. An error occurred while processing this request. Please try again later”.

I’m running omeka on localhost. I’ve tried adding the application to facebook developer, putting the “Website > Site URL” as my localhost (tried both localhost and localhost/myapplication), but the same message appears.

Does anyone know what i’m missing?

Assuming that localhost here means something on a laptop, or otherwise doesn’t have a domain itself, that’s most likely the issue. For it to work, the plugin will have to be on a publicly available site. Otherwise, the code and response from Facebook can’t see the site, and it will cause that error.
