Self-hosted and Support Plan

The organization I work for has a self-hosted Omeka site and we want to make some big changes to the look of the website and are looking into the medium support plan to help make those changes happen. If we purchased the medium support plans, would we get assistance with editing the website to look like we want? I was told the various different memberships (gold, platinum, etc.) didn’t apply to self-hosted sites.

Some of the changes we would like to make are having the collections organized like this, this is the NYPL Omeka site:

Ideally, we would like to model the collections to be organized like this, but this is the ultimate goal:

Any pointers on how to proceed would be appreciated.

Thank you for your question.

The support plans are really designed to answer specific questions and troubleshoot things.

It is also possible to contract with the Omeka Team to do custom design and development work and consulting, which seems to be more of what you’re looking for.

If you drop me an email to sharon@digitalscholar.org we can have a more concrete discussion about your requirements and what the Omeka Team offers.
