Select a specific frame as a derivative image for video

I use Omeka 2.4.1 and I want to know if there is a way to select a specific frame as a derivative image for mp4/video ?

We have videos with a long black fade in and we always got black images…

You can set the “page” option in your configuration file. As far as ImageMagick is concerned, a video is just a huge multi-page image, so the frame number corresponds to the “page” number.
