I have some issues with some PDFs that were added recently. For some reason the thumbnails weren’t generated. I was wondering if there was a way to re-run the job that updates the thumbnails and such?

I think you might be looking for this plugin:
However, you probably need to edit your /etc/ImageMagick/policy.xml if you haven’t already, so that thumbnails can be generated from PDFs.
