"Omeka has encountered an error"

Hi,

Every time I try to go to my site I get the above error message. I tried to follow the instructions for retrieving error messages and believe I did so correctly (opening the .htaccess file and uncommenting the one line), but I still can’t get any more detailed information. Any ideas on possible issues? Either on how to get more information or on why I’m getting the error message in the first place? I really have no idea what happened.

You can create an empty application/logs/errors.log with good rights and set in application/config/config.ini the values “debug.exceptions = true”, “log.errors = true”, and “log.priority = Zend_Log::DEBUG” (if this is not a site in production).
