Omeka Api Import gets stuck on "starting"

I am having problems with Import API. The origin site is All plugins are turned off except API import, nothing shows up in the error log.

What versions of Classic are you running on the target and source install? Is the api enabled on the source installation?

Hi, thanks for your response! The origin is 2.5.1 and the target is 2.6.1
The api is enabled on the source.

Being stuck at “Starting” usually means the background process isn’t running at all.

Have you run any other background jobs (other importers, for example)? If you don’t have PHP’s CLI on your server or it’s at some nonstandard path, you could have a problem like this.
