Navigation-Browse Items using Media Title

I would really appreciate your help on the following matter. In “Navigation” and adding a “Browse” - is there a way of browsing items by “media title” as opposed to “item title”? This is possible if using the module “Item Carousel Block” which allows the user to select either “media title” or “item title”. Am I missing something? Many thanks for your help!

isn’t that setting taken from the ‘browse’ site configuration?
