More password problems

I have added two users. They are not receiving their notifications via email (junk folder was checked). This is not a new problem, so I employed my workaround: I created their profile and assigned a password. When they try to log in, it fails. When they try to “Change Password” it says that their email address is not found (probably because they are not users yet).

Anyone else have this problem? Any thoughts on solutions?

If you’re manually doing the activation process, make sure you’re also marking the users Active when you set their passwords.
