Migrating from CentOS6 to Ubuntu

As you all know quite likely, CentOS is discontinued. So I need to migrate my existing Omeka Classic instance from CentOS to Ubuntu. Has anyone done this? If so, are there any show stoppers or complications?

Both of them should have the needed dependencies available.

One thing to look out for would be: if you were on Centos 6 and you’re moving to Ubuntu, you’re reasonably likely to be moving to a newer version of PHP. If you’re also on a pretty old version of Omeka Classic, then you might have to upgrade the installation to have support for the newer PHP version.
