This is a basic question but where does the title of media appear on the front-end? Omeka asks a title every time a media file (in our case, JPG or PDF files) is uploaded, but that title does not appear anywhere on the front-end. We are using the default theme.
Media titles can be displayed, depending on how you are configuring your sites and blocks.
For example, on some blocks (media embed and item showcase) you have the option of showing the media title or the item title in that block.
In addition, in the site settings there is an option for attachment link type. If media is selected, users will go to the media’s page and see its metadata.
