@jimsafley thanks for all the great features you are adding to the Omeka S Mapping module based on my and the community’s feedback!
Here’s another one you may have anticipated – can you add a transparency slider for WMS overlays? Sliders are nice for curated historical geography, as users can items on the map with shades of their contemporary basemap and overlays from back in time in the background.
The transparency slider widget comes in the box with Leaflet so I imagine it shouldn’t be hard to add as an option when adding a Map block or WMS overlay to a Map block on a page.
