Is it possible to prevent the public from saving images?

Hello all,
We’re using Omeka Classic for online art exhibitions and would like to prevent our artists’ images from being downloaded by the public. Is there a plugin or a setting to do this?

All the public images displayed by the browser are available for the user so you can’t protect them from downloading. You can only try to make it harder for a user to download (for example by locking contextmenu event with javascript) but smart users can handle it.
You can protect your images by watermarking (see FileModify plugin from Daniel-KM )
