Hi, is it possible to extract exif metadata and other metadata formats? In classic it seems that it is possible but for omeka-s I did not find anything. Thanks
Omeka S doesn’t have extraction of embedded metadata built in like Omeka Classic does.
What kinds of metadata are you looking to extract, and what are you looking to do with the extracted data? It’s definitely a good subject for a module, but just how one for this purpose should work (what formats it should support, whether it should pull extracted metadata into Media or Item metadata fields like Title, etc., that kind of stuff is a little unclear. So it’d be interesting to know what your plans/needs are.
