Forward slash not searchable

We have a record with “57/7” in the title. Search does not bring the record up. Is the forward slash something that is not searchable?

This is the full-text search I presume?

The way that search works is it basically splits up your search into words, and “odd” punctuation will usually be treated basically like a space, so the “57” and the “7” are two words here. Normally this isn’t a huge issue, but in this specific case there’s another interacting problem: the full-text search doesn’t find two or one “letter” (or digit) words.

Thanks. Yes, it is full-text. Sounds like there is not really an easy fix?

You can change the minimum searchable word length but it’s a setting of your MySQL server, not something that can be easily changed on the Omeka side of things.
