Embed Tweets? or Tweets as Items

I’m looking to find a way of including tweets in my Omeka items or on a page to display them as part of my online archive. Ideally people could submit links to their own tweets via the contribution form and then I’d be able to display them. However when I have tried to embed tweets using Twitter Publish codes on Simple Pages, they have not created the HTML widget. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong/alternative solutions to displaying tweets?

In terms of the Simple Pages issue, have you checked whether you have HTML filtering on, in your security settings: https://omeka.org/classic/docs/Admin/Settings/Security_Settings/#html-filtering

Thank you so much this has sorted it! I think the issue was actually with the emoji in the tweet I was embedding rather than the tweet itself.
