Does the DB need to be on the same server as Omeka S?

Greetings,
As the title says, we have a MySQL DB on a remote server, can I just change host = “localhost” and point to that hostname or IP? Thanks.

There’s no requirement that the database server and the web server be on the same machine. As you said, you can just change the host line in the database config.
