CSV import of Media to exisitng Item

I have tried a multitude of variations but when I try to sideload media to an existing Item I get errors.
One error is “A media to create is not attached to an item” or it does not like the Internal id which is 17. I have tried using 17 and “17” and ID:17 all which are seen as an error.
I have checked the Item and the ID is 17.
My CSV import has a line for Item and I have tried

I have used the Item line in the CSV and set it up like this:
Data type: Omeka Resource
Resource identifier property: Identifier

It does not seem to like the number 17 which is the ID number for this Item I am trying to put Media into.

I have read the directions but the problem for me seems to be it does not like the ID number or how I have it entered in the CSV.

I can get the Media in if I use upload but we have multiple pages (images) to upload so using the CSV method would be more efficient.

Any guidance or help would be appreciated.

I still get the error: “A media to create is not attached to an item (sideload: 2020124_Left_01.jpg)”.

Does this mean it cannot find the Item(17) or it does not like the Sideload directions that worked for creating Items?

Hi @cslcds ,

Sorry, I may have misled you in my previous comment and I’ll delete it to prevent confusion.

Here’s a screenshot of where you should actually select the Item by specifying the Internal ID.

Thank you for the time and direction it has made it possible for me to get CSV Importer working.
