I would like to use CleanUrl on a 2.4 installation but it’s showing up as an invalid plugin in the admin. Is a new release of this plugin coming soon or do I need to downgrade to 2.3.1 to use it?

“Invalid plugin” usually means you have some problem with the copy you installed (like you didn’t get all the files, or you put the folder in the wrong place). A version constraint issue would show up as an error specifically mentioning that it was incompatible with that version of Omeka.
Almost any plugin that works on 2.3 will also work on 2.4.
Very helpful to know. It turned out the file permissions for the plugin directory were too restrictive. I changed them and it’s now working fine. Thanks!!
