This question was asked in July '19, but there was no reply. However, I have the same issue:
When I write the shortcode [carousel ids=10,30,20], the results come back in item-number order as 10,20,30. How can I get the results to be 10,30,20?
With help from support folks, we figured out an answer. Add to the carousel shortcode: [carousel ids=10,30,20 sort=“Dublin Core,Title” order=a] and edit the item titles so they are alphabetical.
