Any way to retrieve a deleted item's metadata?

Hi all. Unfortunately, a novice user accidentally deleted an item from a submission from the Collecting form. I’m wondering if there’s any way to retrieve the item’s metadata somewhere in the database before having to reach out to the submitter. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this?

If you don’t have a database backup, the answer is no: the database doesn’t contain the metadata of deleted items.
