Admin email notifications for Collecting module?

Hi there,

We’re using the Collecting module v. 1.6.1 with Omeka S v3.0.2 and we’d like to be notified by email when someone submits an item via the form. I see there was a topic about this a year ago, and am wondering if there has been any progress on this or a workaround to get this working?

We’re not expecting a lot of regular submissions, so it would be a pain to keep checking from the admin menu.

I implemented a notification email feature this morning and it is currently in testing. It should be in the next release, which, if all goes well, should be in the next few weeks.
