If we want to re-use a media file on multiple items is there an easy way to do this? When we create an item and then select the Media tab there appears to be no option to select existing Media.
One option, which would particularly good if you’re looking to reuse a representative image (like a file icon) rather than an actual piece of media, would be to use the thumbnail functionality to create a thumbnail for these items.
If the media you want to reuse is actual media, then you could use the File Sideload module with the option “delete sideloaded file” unchecked - this will leave the file available for all items.
